Rivan Industries (Rivan.com) is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise heavy industry. Our mission is to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground. We design and manufacture modular synthetic fuel plants consisting of a DAC system, an Alkaline Electrolyser, and a Sabatier Reactor, whilst vertically integrating with off-grid DC solar and the European gas-grid. We’ve recently deployed the UK’s largest synthetic fuel plant and are planning to 1000x this scale in the next 2 years.

The role: As a Technical Project Lead at Rivan Industries, you will own the entire 1GW Spanish solar and gas-grid injection project. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing strategies to achieve deployment at cost and on-time, managing an interdisciplinary team across solar permitting and planning, gas-grid connection, civil, law, finance, and engineering, and engaging, incentivising, and organising various external stakeholders across government, council, sub-contractors, and local residents.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of professional experience in complicated, large-scale industrial projects, interdisciplinary experience in project management, finance, engineering, and/or planning, and experience in Spain, navigating legal and regulatory guardrails. A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a related field is required.

Benefits: The position offers a salary of £120-150K depending on experience, significant share options as part of the early team, and unlimited time off.
