Technical Project Lead

Rivan Industries is a pioneering synthetic fuel company focused on decarbonizing heavy industry. Our mission is to make synthetic fuel more affordable than fossil fuels, thereby sustaining life on earth by keeping CO2 locked underground. We design and manufacture modular synthetic fuel plants that include a DAC system, an Alkaline Electrolyser, and a Sabatier Reactor. We are also vertically integrated with off-grid DC solar and the European gas-grid.

The role: As a Technical Project Lead at Rivan Industries, you will be responsible for overseeing all projects across the UK and Spain. Your main tasks will include executing solar and gas-grid permitting on track and on time, managing an interdisciplinary team across various domains such as solar permitting, planning, gas-grid connection, civil, law, finance, and engineering. Additionally, you will engage, incentivize, and organize various external stakeholders including government bodies, councils, subcontractors, and local residents. You will also own and be responsible for the budget.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of professional experience in managing complicated, large-scale industrial projects. You should have interdisciplinary experience in project management, finance, engineering, and/or planning, and be adept at navigating legal and regulatory frameworks in both the UK and Spain. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field is required.

Benefits: Rivan Industries offers a competitive salary range of £120,000 to £150,000 depending on experience, significant share options as part of the early team, and unlimited time off.
