Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty. The Role: Oxfam Great Britain is looking for a Governance Assistant. This role sits at the heart of the governance function of Oxfam providing high-level support to the Senior Governance Officer and Board of trustees, which includes administration and coordination of meetings and preparing of documents that all enable Oxfam and its people to deliver impact in the poorest parts of the world. What we are looking for: We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam's mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do. The ideal candidate will have administrative experience with excellent organisational skills and an ability to produce agendas and minutes from complex meetings. Be a self-starter with a solution focused approach whilst being able to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing demands. Have an aptitude for using systems, including those used for effective communications, office and knowledge management.
