L Marks is the global leader in corporate innovation, trusted by many of the world’s most well-respected brands and organisations to identify, validate, and implement transformative solutions. We’re looking for a Partnerships & Ecosystem Manager to build the network of mentors, investors, community partners, and our alumni that helps startups on our programmes flourish.

Applicants are required to hold the relevant work Visas/Work Permits to work in the UK.

We’re a fast-growing company and have launched over 120 corporate innovation initiatives with our partners in Europe, Asia and North America. With a market-leading implementation success rate, our startup and scale-up alumni have secured over $9.4 billion following participation in our programmes. L Marks has built the UK’s largest network of corporate innovation programs and has established a significant footprint in the US. We are trusted by many of the world’s most well-respected brands, including BMW, Gymshark, and the English Football League, to support them in identifying and collaborating with the most promising startups and scale-ups in the industry.

The startups on our programmes are at the heart of what we do, and this role exists to make sure they get the best possible support, before, during, and long after their programme ends. The aim of this role is to build and community-manage the L Marks’ ecosystem of mentors, alumni, service providers and investors, strengthening relationships, sharing opportunities and increasing the visibility of L Marks.

You will be:

- Sourcing new mentors aligned with the industries we work in, and matching participating startups with relevant industry experts across our programmes. - Owning our Perks & Services offering: vetting new offerings presented to us, conducting gap analysis, and establishing partnerships in high-demand areas (e.g. legal, cloud computing, co-working) so startups get real value from them. - Leading alumni engagement, from post-programme calls and feedback through to panels, mentoring, and success-story features on our social channels. - Cultivating investor relationships in new regions and industries, and facilitating connections between startups and investors to increase funding opportunities. - Keeping our wider network engaged, relationship building, sharing relevant opportunities such as event tickets, perks, and discounts, and maintaining accurate relationship records on the CRM. - Representing L Marks at ecosystem events, making strategic connections that widen our referral and marketing network and grow our presence. - Working closely with our Scouting, Delivery and Marketing teams to ensure a joined-up approach across the ecosystem and to showcase the impact of our work.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves building relationships and helping startups/scaleups advance their businesses, and who wants genuine ownership of a growing network.

We’re a young company who are constantly reviewing new opportunities and adapting our process. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to contribute to our strategy and truly own your own work. The right person will be keen to learn quickly and have strong ambitions to build a career in the corporate innovation space

You should have:

- Fantastic people skills and great emotional intelligence; - A demonstrable interest in entrepreneurship, early-stage businesses and/or innovation; - Good organisational skills and able to handle your workload independently; - Confidence (and a great sense of humour helps!); - A desire to grow quickly and remain adaptable to the developing needs of the startups
