The role: We are seeking a motivated Senior App Engineer to join our Member Experience squad within our Member Lifetime Value org. This role is crucial in delivering a 5-star sit experience to pet owners and sitters, driving our mission to scale from 250K to 1 million members. This mobile development role focuses heavily on user experience, with a strong emphasis on building fast, accessible, and engaging products. You will have meaningful ownership over features that directly shape how pet owners and sitters connect for a great sit experience.

Job requirements: Proven experience (4+ years) in mobile app development, including production-grade React Native, Expo, and JavaScript/TypeScript. A mindset geared toward experimentation, measurement, and continuous improvement is essential. You should have a strong understanding of scalable architectures, accessibility, performance optimization, and secure coding practices. Experience in full-stack development and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies are highly desirable.
