Project: An industry-led initiative implementing programs dedicated to farmers and communities at scale with the objective of strengthening the resilience of the cocoa supply chain in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana. Role of RA: Supporting the launch of the operations in Côte d'Ivoire by establishing and managing a team to ensure effective delivery, coordination, and monitoring of all activities on the field including agronomy services
POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Performance, Verification and Impact to oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) systems and activities. You will work with our teams, external partners, and field staff to ensure data collection , analysis, and reporting , supporting evidence-based decision-making and strategic outcomes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Project and Team Management Manage all aspects of MEL implementation, including planning, execution, data analysis, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring agreement on organizational objectives and timelines; Lead the development of detailed workplans, proactively identifying risks and ensuring the smooth project delivery; Manage and coordinate cross-functional and/or geographically dispersed teams, including staff and consultants, to ensure implementation of MEL activities across multiple countries; Oversee coordination of data collection efforts, including training of enumerators, ensuring data quality, and managing timelines; Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., data, finance, technical experts, regional teams) and external partners to ensure deliverables; Maintain relationships with key stakeholders , including partners, service providers, and collaborators; Manage budgets related to MEL activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial accountability
MEL Expertise Design, review, and strengthen MEL frameworks, systems, and indicators to support program objectives ; Ensure survey design, data collection methodologies, and implementation processes; Lead statistical design approaches to ensure robust and reliable data outputs; Oversee thematic data analysis (e.g., environmental, social , economic ) in collaboration with subject matter experts; Contextualize findings using relevant secondary data sources, research, and field insights; Lead analysis of collected data to identify trends, outcomes, and actionable insights for decision-making; Develop and deliver clear, insightful reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders ; Ensure delivery of high-quality outputs, applying best practices in data collection , analysis, and reporting .
WHAT YOU BRING: Master's degree in agriculture, environmental management, natural resources, economics, data science, or a related field; Minimum 5 years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation & learning and program/project management; Strategic planning and organizational experience; Analytical and statistical skills, including experience with data analysis and interpretation; Experience managing multicultural and geographically distributed teams; Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30%); Proficiency in statistical and data analysis tools (e.g., Stata, R, SPSS) and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI). Fluency in English and French .
