Project: An industry-led initiative implementing programs dedicated to farmers and communities at scale with the objective of strengthening the resilience of the cocoa supply chain in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana. Role of the Rainforest Alliance: Supporting the launch of the operations in Côte d'Ivoire by establishing and managing a team to ensure effective delivery, coordination, and monitoring of all activities on the field including agronomy services.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Rainforest Alliance is supporting the launch of this program in Côte d'Ivoire by establishing and managing a team to ensure effective delivery, coordination, and monitoring of all activities on the field including agronomy services. The Administrative and Logistics Coordinator will work in close collaboration with other Finance & Administration staff to provide financial, administrative, and logistical support to the team in Côte d'Ivoire. You will perform a set of specific tasks, following global guidelines and procedures.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Rainforest Alliance's Core Values are Impact, Change, Collaboration, Openness and Trust and as such they form the basis of the behaviours we demonstrate; Provide organizational and logistical support for workshops, events, meetings, and trips; Reception Storage distribution of hardware and IT equipment, IT supplies and consumables and household appliances Maintain monthly inventories of the stock of IT supplies and consumables to ensure availability and replenishment Assist all procurement in close coordination with the Project Finance & Compliance Manager and ensure monitoring the execution of contracts (monitoring sheets for current services). Ensure monthly monitoring of vehicle logbooks and work in close coordination with all team drivers; Support the procurement and inventory processes; Search, collect, study and store in a physical and electronic database all official documents relating to acquisitions; Ensure good maintenance of fuel supply for the entire RA's vehicle fleet; Support vehicles and other equipment management and maintenance; Contribute to the annual planning and budgeting process; and Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING: Tertiary education in finance, accounting, business administration or related field; 3 years work experience in Finance or Administration; Handle confidentially information; Proficiency in French and good level English; Ability to travel locally at least 30% of the time.
