The Woodland Trust is looking for a Service Delivery Manager to help deliver high quality services to meet the needs of the organisation.

The Role: • Act as the first escalation point for P1 and P2 incidents affecting business operations. • Manage business as usual process performed by the service desk and our service delivery department. • Manage our IT asset management system, ensuring our policy, process and procedures are fit for purpose. • Manage and maintain the OIT system and services. • Drive for continual improvement of our service offerings alongside our co-supplier. • Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively with strong communication throughout. • This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Head office attendance would be required twice a month on average. • This is a fixed term contract until 31st December 2026.

The Candidate: • Experience managing an IT service delivery function. • Knowledge of on-premise and cloud-based IT systems with the ability to use them effectively. • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as vendors and suppliers. • Knowledge on ITIL policies and procedures with the ability to manage these. • Experience managing a IT budget, ensuring value for money. • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • Knowledge of ITSM tools for incident, problem and change management. • Experience acting as the escalation point for major service failures and incidents. • Qualification in ITIL v4 foundation.
