Writers' Hour Host

London Writers' Salon is a community of practice for people who write. Every weekday we host Writers' Hour, a one-hour online session where writers around the world sit down and write together — over 30,000 writers have gathered with us for more than three million writing hours, side by side.

Our Writers' Hour Hosts are the heart of that experience – and we're looking to welcome a few new people to the team.

As a Writers' Hour host, you're the welcoming voice and face to help people commit to their writing and feel part of a creative community.

Qualities of a perfect Writers' Hour Host:

• Warm, calm, and naturally welcoming
• Confident facilitating a room with kindness and consistency
• Comfortable learning Zoom and handling the technical aspects of Writers’ Hour
• Thoughtful decision-makers who can help keep sessions safe and focused

The Commitment

We ask hosts to commit to 2–3 Writers' Hours each week. If you're excited about hosting but unsure whether your availability quite fits, we'd still love to hear from you.
