Scope: The Program Intern will support the planning, coordination, and execution of 500 Global's accelerator program in South Korea. Working closely with the local program team, this role will assist with day-to-day program operations, founder engagement, mentor coordination, event logistics, research, and administrative activities that contribute to a high-quality experience for participating startups. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the startup ecosystem and venture capital while developing practical skills in program management and operations. The position is based in Seoul, South Korea.

​Essential Functions: Support the day-to-day operations of the accelerator program. Coordinate communications with founders, mentors, speakers, and external partners. Assist with scheduling meetings, workshops, mentoring sessions, and program events. Prepare presentations, program materials, reports, and internal documentation. Maintain accurate records, trackers, and CRM systems. Conduct research on startups, industries, and ecosystem trends. Support the planning and execution of in-person and virtual program events. Monitor program timelines and follow up on action items with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth program delivery. Provide general administrative and operational support to the Korea team as needed.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Strong interest in startups, entrepreneurship, innovation, or venture capital. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office. Legally authorized to work in South Korea.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous internship or leadership experience in startups, consulting, operations, event management, or entrepreneurship. Familiarity with the South Korean startup ecosystem. Experience coordinating projects, student organizations, or community initiatives. Experience with project management, CRM, or collaboration tools (e.g., Notion, Airtable, Asana, HubSpot). Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
