Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

Rivan Industries (Rivan.com) is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise heavy industry. We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground. We design and manufacture modular synthetic fuel plants consisting of a DAC system, an Alkaline Electrolyser, and a Sabatier Reactor, whilst vertically integrating with off-grid DC solar and the European gas-grid. We manufacture this system from scratch in London, UK. We’re after a brilliant procurement & supply chain manager to help us rapidly scale our supply chain and partners! We’re now graduating from our R&D team sharing supply chain ownership to full-scale manufacturing at our new 50,000sft factory. We need someone to wrestle our BOM into something that achieves the speed, robustness and cost that enables us to deliver a world-class product. The role will own our entire supply chain – from the moment we purchase materials and components to when a commissioned system is ready to be deployed. This involves complex coordination cross inventory, demand planning, financing, and permitting.

The role: Own the end-to-end supply chain for manufacturing our systems Raw material & component sourcing This will include technical speccing of components, systems or materials Supplier consolidation Cost & speed optimisation Demand planning & Storage Aligning manufacturing with financing, permitting and deployment R&D procurement optimisation Spend analysis and procurement auditing. Review and analyse where departments are overlapping, under/over ordering, and optimise for speed, supply and cost across all R&D spend

Core skills: 5+ years professional experience. Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering.
