About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase their income and assets on supported land by more than 35 percent, while permanently improving their resilience. The Nigeria program, established in 2018, is headquartered in Minna, Niger state. About the Young Professionals Program One Acre Fund’s Young Professionals Program offers high-performing African graduates meaningful internships and training opportunities at a high-performing, mission-driven organization. Our internships are paid and all interns can expect to receive substantive work assignments working on high-impact projects that support One Acre Fund's operations.

When joining, interns will participate in an onboarding program and receive training on how to design and execute projects. Over the period of your internship, you will get the opportunity to work with like-minded individuals and receive learning opportunities to build strong foundations for your future career.

About the Role Seeking a curious, eager to learn professional to kickstart their recruitment career by mastering the "engine room" of our hiring processes and driving a world-class candidate experience.

Responsibilities Operational Excellence: You will execute recurring administrative tasks to keep recruitment operations running smoothly, ensuring 100% data accuracy in all trackers and documentation. Candidate Experience: You will facilitate the candidate screening process, including CV longlisting and interview scheduling, and provide professional, timely communication to ensure every candidate has the best experience. ATS Management: You will maintain the candidate database (Applicant Tracking System), ensuring all applicant statuses are up to date and helping extract basic data for weekly reporting. Continuous Improvement: In collaboration with your manager, you will assist in identifying bottlenecks in the recruitment flow and support the rollout of new tools or process updates. Logistics/Coordination: You will manage the logistics for interview panels, ensuring all interviewers have the necessary materials and candidates are well-briefed. Contribute to ad-hoc projects and provide operational support to the Team as required.

Qualifications Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have: Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field of study. 6 months to 1 year of recruitment or HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about the work we do at One Acre Fund for Smallholder Farmers. Familiarity with Google Workspace and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse) is a plus. Basic data analysis skills - you can pick out patterns. Great learning skills, curious, and a knack for attention to detail. A strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders. Proficiency in English is required.

Benefits Interns will be provided with a reasonable stipend for the duration of their contract. Rural area based fellows will be provided assistance in locating suitable housing.
