Senior Fundraising Executive Application Deadline: 23 August 2026 Department: Fundraising Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract Location: Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity Reporting To: Ann Hayes Compensation: £38,692 / year Description Do you want to be part of an ambitious donor retention team to raise vital funds for the work of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH)? Join us to deliver one of the sector’s largest regular giving programmes at a key strategic moment. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and strategic Senior Executive on a fixed-term basis to support the delivery of Committed Giving Retention programme. As well as working on the day-to-day delivery of an ambitious retention programme, this role will play a key role in our new emotion-led supporter stewardship strategy. The role is known internally as Senior Individual Giving Executive – Retention. This role will run from September 2026- 31 March 2027. Salary The salary for this position is £38,692 pro rata and we operate a hybrid working model of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate. Key Responsibilities Project managing a workstream within a new supporter stewardship strategy. Campaign management for rolling retention activities. Managing third party agencies to deliver the day-to-day retention programme activity Utilising data analytics to support the creation, delivery, and evaluation of retention programmes. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong knowledge of retention, stewardship or supporter experience programmes. Previous project management experience. Confident in data analysis to help inform supporter engagement strategies. A creative and holistic understanding of supporter experience and ability to implement this in activity. Experience within the charity sector is beneficial for this role. DBS - a basic DBS check is required for this role.
