Opportunity Type: Regular Fixed Term (Fixed Term) Summary: We are seeking an experienced People Manager to guide and empower a team of program professionals. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of impactful programs while creating an environment where your team can thrive. By setting clear expectations, providing continuous feedback, and aligning team goals with Habitat for Humanity International’s mission, you will play a key role in driving our organizational success. Key Responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced Program Manager who will oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of Separated Subdivision of Nadacia Habitat for Humanity International's programs in Ukraine, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and strategic goals. This role requires a strong leader who can manage complex projects, foster partnerships, and drive impactful community development initiatives. What would be your responsibilities? * Lead the development and implementation of program strategies, work plans, and budgets in collaboration with senior management and local partners. * Manage the full program lifecycle from inception to closure, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and performance monitoring. * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, local government entities, partner organizations, and funding bodies. * Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback. * Ensure program activities adhere to organizational policies, donor requirements, and relevant national and international standards. * Monitor program progress, collect and analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes, impact, and lessons learned. * Identify funding opportunities, contribute to grant proposals, and manage donor reporting requirements. * Represent Separated Subdivision of Nadacia Habitat for Humanity International at relevant meetings, conferences, and public events. * Promote best practices in community development, housing, and humanitarian aid within all program activities. * Conduct regular field visits to program sites to provide oversight, support, and ensure quality control. What do we require? * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as International Development, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred. * Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in program management, preferably within the non-profit sector or international development, with a focus on housing or community development. * Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, budgets, and teams. * Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 certification is a plus). * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. * Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise reports, proposals, and other program documentation. * Proficiency in English and Ukrainian; fluency in additional local languages relevant to program areas is highly desirable. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software. * Ability to travel frequently to program sites, sometimes in challenging environments. * Active support of HFHI Values: - Humility – We are part of something bigger than ourselves - Courage – We do what’s right, even when it is difficult or unpopular - Accountability – We take personal responsibility for Habitat’s mission * Safeguarding: HFHI requires that all employees take seriously their ethical responsibilities to safeguarding our intended beneficiaries, their communities, and all those with whom we work.
