Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours) Salary: £47,000 per annum Closing Date: 8th September 2026 Interviews will be held w/c 14th and 21st September 2026 Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Senior Media and Celebrity Manager to join our team based in Aldgate, London. About us We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037. Together with our partners, we support over 15,000 young people each year. The role As Senior Media and Celebrity Manager, you will provide strategic leadership across Centrepoint’s media positioning, reputation management and celebrity and talent engagement. You will lead proactive and reactive media activity, securing high-quality coverage, amplifying campaigns and showcasing Centrepoint’s vision. You will also lead our talent engagement programme, building relationships with ambassadors, high-profile supporters, talent agencies, publicists and industry contacts to maximise opportunities for Centrepoint. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will provide expert media and communications advice and play a key role in protecting and enhancing our reputation. Office-based working Colleagues are required to spend a minimum of 50% of their working week in our offices and must be able to commit to this requirement each week. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g., two days one week and three days the next). For colleagues on different contracts (including part-time or compressed contracts) this will be adjusted accordingly. Our core working hours are 9:30am to 4:30pm, and colleagues must be in the office during these times. About you Significant experience in media relations, PR or communications. Experience managing celebrity, ambassador or influencer engagement. Proven experience developing successful media strategies and securing high-quality coverage. Strong relationships across the media landscape and talent industry. Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills. Sound judgement and experience managing sensitive media or reputational issues. What you’ll be doing Lead Centrepoint’s media office and proactive and reactive media activity. Develop and deliver media and celebrity engagement strategies. Secure creative and high-profile media opportunities that raise Centrepoint’s profile. Build and manage relationships with journalists, media outlets, ambassadors and industry contacts. Advise senior stakeholders on media, reputation management and communications opportunities. Lead responses to sensitive media issues and support the development of spokespeople. Why join Centrepoint?
