In this role, you will report to our VP Platform and will interact directly with some of the brightest entrepreneurs across the world - helping our Bessemer portfolio companies grow faster and more effectively.
Your primary area of focus will be to nurture and manage our budding community of CXOs. You will generate discussion around relevant topics, make critical connections and help our CXOs solve critical pain points. As the Community Manager, you will also support the broader efforts of the Community team; designing portfolio support services, building internal and external tooling, and tracking and reporting on key KPIs.
This is a full time, remote position, based anywhere across a GMT, EST or PST timezone. The right candidate for this role is creative, a self starter, detail oriented and hungry to sink their teeth into community building.
In this role you will:
- Work closely with our Head of Community on improving and expanding our CXO and CEO programming
- Oversee engagement and communication across our various CXO and CEO platforms,
- Assist the Community team with the day to day functioning of our Operating Advisor Network and various CEO and CXO experiences and programming
- Manage onboarding and offboarding of new community members, including gifting and entry/exit surveys
- Closely track and report on key KPIs and Metrics
- Be directly involved in strategic tracking of value across portco (value statements)
- Run and operate two Community platforms, web2 and web3
- Assist our senior head of events with all event logistics

The right fit likely includes:
- No more than 2/3 years of experience in Community Management
- Proficiency with Mobilize as our community platform
- Proficiency with basic project management tools; Notion, Airtable
- Knowledge of key Community KPIs and metrics, or the desire to learn
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
- A solid understanding of web3 and the inner workings of DAO is a bonus
