The Role As the Head of Operations, you will serve as the operational backbone of CarbonChain, responsible for company-wide execution, ensuring strategic alignment, and developing systems and processes for scalability. You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate with leadership across various departments such as product, engineering, sales, and customer success to enhance efficiency, performance, and growth.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement operational strategies that translate company goals into actionable plans and measurable objectives. - Build scalable processes across finance, people, legal, and compliance sectors, and manage business systems like CRM and project management tools. - Support talent strategy, hiring processes, and performance management to maintain and enhance company culture during scaling. - Partner with finance to oversee budgets, forecasts, and business analytics, and support fundraising activities. - Manage vendor contracts, legal processes, and ensure compliance with relevant laws, building risk management practices suitable for a fast-scaling startup.
Requirements - At least 7 years of relevant experience in operations, strategy, or business leadership, preferably in a fast-scaling Series A–C tech company. - Proven track record in building and scaling processes and managing cross-functional teams. - Strong financial acumen and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in ambiguous environments and executing tasks with urgency.
