As our Senior Carbon Specialist, you'll play an essential part in our operations by sourcing, processing, and providing supply chain emissions data to our customers.

Role Summary:

  • Calculate supply chain emissions through customer data, internal systems, and emissions data.
  • Research carbon emissions data from both public and private sources.
  • Prepare and present carbon footprint results to customers across various sectors.
  • Work cohesively with our product team to improve carbon footprint methodology and develop internal data sourcing, processing, and management processes.


Role Requirements:

  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Environment, Sustainability, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of technical experience in sustainability-driven fields.
  • Expertise in carbon accounting, LCA, PCFs, or EPDs, preferably within the metals, minerals, or steel sectors.
  • Familiarity with GHG accounting, reporting standards, and knowledge of GHG disclosure regulations and reporting frameworks.
  • English fluency and multilingualism is a plus.

We are a series A startup, ambitious and scrappy, dedicated to making a significant impact in the climate tech industry. We are currently seeking a Senior Carbon Specialist to support the execution, research, and delivery of our products to customers. This role involves sourcing and processing supply chain emissions data that directly feeds into customer-facing products, playing a crucial role in our operations.

The role: As a Senior Carbon Specialist, you will be responsible for calculating supply chain emissions using customer data inputs, internal systems, and emissions data. You will also research carbon emissions data from public and private sources, prepare product carbon footprints or corporate carbon footprints, and present results to customers in various sectors including metals and mining, energy, chemicals, and agriculture. Additionally, you will work on improving our carbon footprint methodology and developing internal data sourcing, processing, and management processes in tandem with our product team.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Environment, Sustainability, or a related quantitative discipline. A minimum of 7 years of experience in relevant sustainability-driven technical fields is required, along with technical experience in carbon accounting, LCA, PCFs, or EPDs, preferably in the metals, minerals, or steel sectors. Familiarity with greenhouse gas emissions accounting and reporting standards such as GHG Protocol, ISO 14040, ISO 14044, ISO 14067, and knowledge of GHG disclosure regulations and reporting frameworks are essential. Fluency in English is a must, and additional languages will be a plus.
