Role Summary
- Partner with the Pricing Lead to develop pricing strategies across Marketplace, Subscription, and future product offerings.
- Design pricing architecture including list prices, regional pricing, packaging, bundles and subscription tiers.
- Develop business cases for pricing changes using data driven insights, competitive analysis, and financial modeling.
- Design and evaluate pricing experiments to better understand willingness-to-pay, price elasticity, and customer behavior.
- Analyze pricing performance and recommend improvements that optimize conversion, GMV, and customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Analytics, and Finance to translate pricing strategy into executable initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive pricing models to identify new monetization opportunities.
- Present pricing recommendations and experiment findings to senior stakeholders.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
- 4–7+ years of experience in pricing, strategy, consulting, product strategy, monetization, or analytics.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience working with large datasets.
- Experience developing business cases and presenting recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with pricing experimentation, A/B testing, or customer segmentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar analytical tools preferred.
As a Pricing Specialist focused on Structural Pricing & Packaging, you will help define how Udemy monetizes its products across Marketplace, Subscription, and future integrated Coursera + Udemy offerings.
