Bank Tutor

We are looking for experienced tutors who could join our bank staff. We provide training courses for adults with learning disabilities and autism across a range of creative, practical and academic subjects. Our courses include areas such as Art, Textiles, Digital Skills, Maths and English and Independent Living Skills. As a bank worker with us, you would be responsible for stepping in to provide cover during staff absence across our different courses. Students take part in sessions for educational or wellbeing progression and your main responsibilities would be to support and train our students using prepared lesson plans, helping them to develop the skills needed for their learning and appropriate external qualifications where relevant. Work is offered on an as-needed basis once you are added to our bank staff. There is no guarantee of work; however, we are looking for people who are happy to be contacted at short notice to provide relief or can be booked for block weeks in advance. We are ideally looking for people who have experience of delivering teaching or training and who feel confident working across a range of subjects. You must have a flexible approach and a can-do attitude. As this role provides cover across multiple projects, you will need to be comfortable following lesson plans and adapting your teaching style to suit different subjects and student needs.
