What is CBD?

CBD is a naturally occurring, non-intoxicating compound found in the cannabis plant. CBD helps to reduce anxiety, promote relaxation and improve mood by supporting the body’s natural cannabinoid system, which is responsible for maintaining homeostasis (balance) in the body. THC, the other well known plant compound, has psychoactive properties, and causes a ‘high’. Goodrays contains 0% THC. Each serve of Goodrays contains a premium and effective dose of CBD.

The Role

Goodrays is looking for an ambitious, goal-orientated and organised account holder with experience in the healthy, beauty and wellness industry. The role will require experience in new business development, account management, demand planning and lead generation.

The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Commercial Team be responsible for rolling out Goodrays premium collection of CBD oils and gummies across national accounts, wholesale and third-party retailers.

This is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing CBD brands and help us to disrupt the alcohol, sugar and caffeine industries to redefine the future of wellness. As the business scales the role may be responsible for hiring additional team members, contractors and agencies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Head of health and wellness category responsible for winning new business across national health and wellness accounts, pharmacies, gyms, spas and off-trade.
  • Generating leads for targeted accounts, drafting and executing the outreach strategy and managing a fast-moving sales pipeline.
  • Organising sales meetings, developing pitch decks, drafting compelling commercial and consumer-focussed proposals.
  • Managing customer accounts, developing joint business plans, providing marketing collaterals and point-of-sale and organising stock delivery and invoicing.
  • Report on sales performance, perform demand planning with the production team and create case studies for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Educating retailers and staff about the CBD market, CBD products and legislation.
  • Managing the delivery of samples and VIP boxes for key accounts.

Key attributes:

  • Experience in a similar sales role within Health, Wellness and/or Beauty
  • Ability to manage a full trading P&L from COGs to RSP
  • Experience in negotiation to Senior Category Buyer Level
  • Ability to develop marketing plans to drive RoS.
  • Meticulously detailed and deadline focused
  • Ability to communicate proactively and effectively with internal and external partners
  • Deliverables and objectives focused
  • Highly organised and time efficient
  • Enthusiastic, friendly and positive mentality

Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (4 day working week available)

Location: Remote

Salary: Depending on Experience
