Role Summary
- Participate in Project Coordination, Reporting, and Delivery for the 'Urban Infrastructure Insurance Facility (UIIF)' project in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Oversee communication and coordination with consultants and stakeholders.
- Plan and organize project-related events and assist in the preparation of reports and technical documents.
Role Requirements
- 1-2 years of related work experience, preferably with local governments or not-for-profit organizations.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish or Portuguese.
- Experience with digital collaboration tools, MS Office, and basic design platforms.

The role: As a Junior Officer in the Resilient Development Team at the ICLEI World Secretariat in Bonn, Germany, you will be involved in Project Coordination, Reporting, and Delivery support for the 'Urban Infrastructure Insurance Facility (UIIF)' project across Latin America and the Caribbean. This includes supporting effective communication and coordination with consultants and stakeholders, contributing to the planning and organization of project-related events, and assisting in the preparation of reports and technical documents.
Job requirements: Candidates should have 1-2 years of work experience in a related field, preferably with local governments or not-for-profit organizations. A Master's degree in Political Science, Urban Studies, Human Geography, Environmental Science, International Relations, or a similar field is required. Proficiency in English and either Spanish or Portuguese is necessary. Experience with digital collaboration tools, MS Office, and basic design platforms is also required.
Benefits: The position offers a starting annual salary of 34,306.92 EUR, with 30 days of paid leave per year and a flexible work-from-home policy within Germany. The contract is initially for 1 year with the possibility of extension, based on German law. International travel may be required, and communication with partners globally may necessitate working outside of normal office hours.
