Senior Paid Social Executive Westbourne Grove, London | Full-time, 5 days in office About Simmer Simmer is one of the UK’s fastest-growing consumer brands, built on a simple belief: healthy food should taste extraordinary. Founded by brothers Simmy and Jhai with just £10 of ingredients, we’ve grown into a profitable, bootstrapped business serving tens of thousands of customers across the UK and ranking as the 5th fastest-growing company in The Sunday Times 100 in both 2025 and 2026. But we still think we’re early. Our ambition is to become the defining brand in healthy eating. We’re fully founder-led, with no private equity or corporate layers. The founders still run the business, set the standard and stay deeply involved in the work. That means decisions happen quickly, ownership is real and the people who join us have the opportunity to materially shape what Simmer becomes. We’ve grown by making healthy food people genuinely want to eat, building a powerful performance marketing engine and telling our story in a way that feels authentic. Now we’re entering the next phase and we want to build one of the strongest growth and creative engines in consumer. The Role We’re looking for a Senior Paid Social Executive who already has strong foundations in paid social and wants significantly more ownership, scale and responsibility. This is a hands-on role. You’ll be inside the accounts every day - analysing performance, managing budgets, launching tests, spotting problems and deciding what we should do next. Meta will be your core channel, alongside exposure to TikTok, Reddit and the new channels we test as we grow. And you'll be doing it at meaningful scale. We currently spend a significant amount monthly on Meta alone, giving you the volume, data and feedback loops to learn quickly and see the impact of your decisions. But we don't want to develop you into just a better media buyer. We want someone who is curious about the whole growth equation: the customer, the creative, the offer, the channel and the economics behind it. You’ll work closely with our Growth and Creative teams to understand not just which ads win, but why - turning performance data into sharper hooks, stronger messages, better creative briefs and smarter decisions about what we test next. If you're a couple of years into performance marketing and feel like you're capable of significantly more than your current role gives you, this is probably the opportunity. What You’ll Own Meta performance - take day-to-day ownership of campaigns, budgets, optimisation and testing across our biggest paid acquisition channel. Performance diagnosis - understand what's actually moving CPA and growth rather than simply reporting what happened. Testing - develop hypotheses, launch experiments, analyse results and turn the learning into the next action. Creative insight - identify the hooks, messages, formats and concepts driving performance and feed those insights directly back into Creative. Creative testing - work closely with the creative team to build a faster, stronger feedback loop between what we're making and what customers respond to. Channel expansion - build experience across TikTok, Reddit and emerging channels as we find new opportunities to scale. Measurement - develop a more sophisticated understanding of attribution and incrementality as our measurement stack evolves. Better systems - help improve reporting, testing frameworks and the way we turn large amounts of performance data into useful decisions. The expectation isn't that you wait to be told what to optimise. We want you to understand the problem, form a view and act on it. What We’re Looking For Your exact background matters less than whether you've genuinely been hands-on with paid social. You'll probably have around 2–4 years of experience in performance marketing, either in-house or agency-side. We think you'll be a strong fit if you: know your way around Meta Ads Manager and have personally managed and optimised campaigns understand CPA, ROAS, CPM, CTR and conversion rate and, more importantly, understand how they interact can look at performance and form a view on why something is happening have strong analytical instincts but think commercially rather than treating metrics in isolation are interested in customers and why they behave the way they do have opinions about creative and want to get much better at understanding why ads win or lose enjoy testing, learning and changing your mind when the evidence tells you to are comfortable getting into the detail rather than managing from a distance learn quickly and actively seek feedback take ownership rather than waiting for instructions are ambitious about how quickly you can develop are comfortable operating in a fast-moving, founder-led environment You don't need to arrive knowing every channel or having worked with every tool we use. We're much more interested in strong foundations, intelligence, hunger and learning speed than someone who looks perfect on paper. Why Simmer? If you want to become exceptional at performance marketing, the quality and volume of decisions you get to make matters. At Simmer, you'll work with meaningful budgets, large amounts of performance data and a constant flow of new creative. You'll see quickly whether your decisions worked. And because we're deliberately lean, you won't be several layers removed from the people making the creative or deciding where the business goes next. You'll get the opportunity to: own meaningful spend rather than simply supporting someone else's account work across Meta, TikTok, Reddit and new channels learn how paid acquisition works at significant scale work directly with Creative to understand what makes advertising perform build deeper capability across customer insight, measurement and commercial growth work closely with an experienced Growth Lead while taking increasing ownership yourself have your scope grow as quickly as your capability does We believe talented people develop fastest when they're given real responsibility, high standards, direct feedback and difficult problems to solve. You won't be expected to arrive knowing everything. What matters is your trajectory: how quickly you learn, how well you turn feedback and data into better judgement, and how much responsibility you're capable of earning. If you're a couple of years into performance marketing and feel ready for a much steeper learning curve, we'd love to hear from you.
