The Victoria and Albert Museum, commonly known as the V&A, is the world's leading museum of art, design and performance. With a mission to enrich people’s lives by promoting the practice of design and increase knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of the designed world, the V&A plays a huge and crucial role in the world of art and design. Perhaps best known for their stunning exhibitions, the V&A also houses a vast permanent collection of historical artefacts, as well as the National Art Library and a number of other archives and libraries. Such an iconic institution will always be an attractive place to work, but in recent years the V&A has made great strides in improving its culture and the way it supports its people. This has included training programmes such as 'Leading in a Creative Context' and 'The Inclusive Museum', and the consolidation of employee networks such as the BAME network, the LGBTQIA+ network and the Disability Network.
