As a Controller you will be accountable for financial management & reporting across our local entities, key accounting cycles and / or a combination of both. As a senior member of our Finance Team in Wroclaw, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, delivering robust financial information and supporting business decision-making. This role goes beyond traditional financial control - it is an opportunity to play an important ownership role in the true engine of a scale up finance function, with an AI - native agenda to reshape a modern finance operation. Reporting into the Head of Financial Operations, you will be accountable for key outcomes of our financial close & control cycles, building & maintaining processes that facilitate accurate financial reporting. As a hands- on manager, you will motivate, inspire & develop team members under the premise of our Dott values & Dott Finance principles. Financial Control & Reporting Play a key role in our Record to Report process, including general ledger accounting, supporting schedules & accounting processes, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities for the Group’s operating markets spread across Europe and the Middle East Own relevant parts of the Closing Calendar, adhering to a culture of quality, review & timely delivery Ensure robust review and full ownership of the quality and output of reporting, including P&L accuracy, balance sheet movements and variances Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making Maintain and strengthen the internal control environment, ensuring processes are documented, controls operate effectively and compliance is maintained Support Group & statutory audits, specifically provided by client requests; plan and manage deliverables, proactively anticipate issues and problem-solve findings through to resolution Transformation & Continuous Improvement Drive continuous finance process improvement: identify bottlenecks, standardise and automate workflows, and lead improvement initiatives from design through implementation Support the enhancement of ERP systems and financial tools, driving process improvements and standardization Build for the future & embrace AI - identify opportunities to improve processes, systems & data automation that move towards an AI native finance operations function Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead, coach & develop junior team members through a performance management mindset with objectives, feedback and career development Advocate for an engaging, collaborative & positive working environment that upholds Dott values and our Dott Finance principles Drive culture of accountability, high performance & continuous improvement Collaborate with key stakeholders across Finance including Statutory Reporting, FP&A, P2P, Treasury & Tax Provide financial expertise, guidance and be a trusted partner to wider business stakeholders.
