Since launching the world’s first portable wood-pellet pizza oven in 2012, Ooni has grown into an award-winning, multinational company with a product range loved by pizza makers all over the globe. Our mission has always been to design innovative products that spark joy in our customers, and whilst we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished so far - we’re only just getting started. Are you driven by turning data into decisions that keep pizza ovens flowing to customers all over the world? Are you passionate about building a forecast the whole business can plan around? If so, keep reading!   We’re looking for a Senior Demand Planner to join our global planning team. This role is based  in Austin, TX. It is a dual focussed role, supporting our North American commercial teams but also forecasting global demand for several of our hero product categories.    This is a  hybrid role, working 3 days per week  from our office in  Austin, TX , reporting into the Senior Demand Planning Manager in our Scottish HQ and dotted line to the VP of Sales and Commercial Operations.    What you’ll do:  Demand Forecasting:  Maintain highly accurate, unconstrained and constrained 12-month rolling demand plans for your assigned region and global categories, based on bottom up planning activities owned by our commercial teams.  S&OP: facilitate and execute key steps of the S&OP process, achieving demand consensus and tracking and actioning key actions across the business to improve forecast accuracy and highlighting opportunities to improve overall business performance. Data Analysis & Reporting : Understand all relevant data sources across Ooni, using that data to perform analysis and report findings in a clear, concise format that drives decision-making. Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Work closely with peers across Sales, Category Management and Supply Planning to ensure the demand plan captures all known activity and has a clear route to delivery. KPI Management: Track and report on function KPIs, performing root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy. Ownership & Autonomy:  Work independently across an expanded range of demand planning tasks, planning 6–12 months ahead and feeding your observations and insight into the team’s wider strategy.   What you’ll need to succeed: This role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented planner who enjoys turning data into a forecast the business can trust, thrives on solving problems independently, and brings a structured, methodical approach to cross-functional collaboration. You will excel in this role if you enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where ideas move quickly and the best idea wins — no matter where it comes from. A genuine passion for getting under the skin of demand data is essential.   Essential Skills and Experience: Demand Planning: Several years’ experience in demand planning or forecasting, ideally within a consumer products, retail or CPG environment. Proven ability to develop and maintain a highly accurate 24-month rolling demand plan. S&OP Governance: Experience contributing to S&OP activities across functions, and supporting agreed processes, policies and standards. Demand Forecasting (Software): Effective use of a demand forecasting platform (e.g. NSPB or equivalent) to build and maintain the demand plan, taking the lead on resolving platform issues. Data Analysis & Reporting: Strong command of relevant data sources, with the ability to perform analysis and report findings in a clear and concise format. Cross-Functional Collaboration: A collaborative approach to working with peers across the business to ensure the demand plan reflects all known activity. KPI Management: Experience tracking and reporting on planning KPIs and performing root cause analysis to drive improvement. Independent Delivery: Ability to work independently on complex, longer-term planning tasks, taking ownership of timelines and driving outcomes without the need for continual guidance.   Desirable Skills and Experience: Experience working in both wholesale and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) environments, and comfortable balancing the planning needs of both channels. Continuous Improvement Delivery: A track record of evaluating performance and seeking innovative ways to increase effectiveness. Financial Management: Awareness of how demand planning decisions affect the 3-year plan, with experience identifying risks and opportunities. Risks and Opportunities: Experience identifying trends or events likely to impact the plan, determining impact and probability, and proposing mitigation options. New Product Integration (NPD): Familiarity with managing SKU transitions and reflecting product lifecycle in the demand plan Manufacturing & Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain lead times, constraints and dependencies to align customer demand with realistic availability and delivery expectations.   Why Ooni?
