Operations Officer Keep our charity running smoothly, so our team can focus on changing young lives. Looking for a varied role where your work really matters? Maybe you're an Office Manager, HR Officer, Operations Coordinator or Executive Assistant looking for your next step. Maybe you've worked in a small business or start-up where you did a bit of everything, and you loved it. At Dallaglio RugbyWorks, we support young people who are at risk of exclusion from education. Using sport as a hook and positive relationships as the foundation, we help young people build confidence, resilience, aspirations and life skills that can transform their futures. Our national team works with young people across the country, and they rely on strong central support to keep the cogs turning. You don't need experience in every part of this role. What matters is that you're a quick learner, happy to get stuck in and able to work at pace. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. As our Operations Officer, you'll be that person. This is a hands-on, varied role at the heart of our charity, and no two days will look the same. You'll own the employee lifecycle from recruitment through to exit, keeping our HR processes on track and our records accurate. You'll work closely with our COO, who leads on strategy and culture, while you own the day to day delivery. You'll also make sure our office at House of Sport runs smoothly and welcomingly, look after our IT, kit and systems, and be a central point of support for the whole team, from organising staff days and away days to preparing for our full team meetings. Alongside our content creator, you'll look after our social media and keep our website up to date. If this is an area you're good at, there's plenty of scope to make it your own. This is a role with real ownership. You'll be trusted to run key parts of how the charity operates, spot where things could work better and make it happen. By making sure our team has what they need, you'll help them focus on what matters most: supporting young people to build brighter futures. If you love variety, taking ownership and making a difference, we'd love to hear from you. You're probably a great fit if... You're the person who keeps things organised, even when things get busy. Whether you've worked in operations, HR, office management or somewhere you wore lots of hats, you know how to juggle priorities, keep on top of the detail and get things done without dropping the ball. You enjoy building relationships with people. You'll be the go-to person for our whole team, from new starters to colleagues across the country, as well as suppliers and partners. You like getting to know people, and you know that good relationships make everything else run more smoothly. We're looking for a true jack of all trades; someone who is proactive, curious and happy to pick up new things, can work independently and handles confidential information with care. More About Us At Dallaglio RugbyWorks, we support young people 12-18 who have been excluded from education or at risk of exclusion. Using sport as the starting point and mentoring as the foundation, we help them build confidence, resilience and the skills they need to create brighter futures. Rugby helps start the relationship, but the work goes far beyond sport. The charity uses mentoring, life skills, wellbeing support and career-focused activities to help young people build confidence and prepare for life after school. Our work focuses on four areas: life skills, raising aspirations, physical wellbeing and mental wellbeing, and the aim is to make sure exclusion from school does not become exclusion from society. You'll be part of a team that makes sure young people get consistent support, trusted adults and practical chances to move towards education, employment or training.
