The Role
As our Programme Manager, you will work directly with ventures looking to have an impact on society, creating activities, workshops and programmes designed to train founders and impact leaders on their growth journey.
Supporting entrepreneurs, you will design and deliver programmes such as our Accelerator Challenge, Grow Your Business and Climate Accelerator programmes. You will also create activities such as our Demo Day, where founders pitch to investors, and full day start-up bootcamps.
You will curate the application, selection and onboarding process of each programme, work with the Marketing & Communications team to promote them and identify and recruit ventures to join them.
Your role will also involve:
- Liaising with external specialists and speakers
- Maintaining and developing relationships with investors, ecosystem builders and founders
- Managing businesses’ progress, collecting data and information and tracking our impact
- Delivering support sessions to the companies, including 1x1 coaching and feedback
About You
To join us as our Programme Manager, you will need:
- At least three years’ experience supporting accelerators, ventures or community building organisations
- Experience in the impact or tech ecosystem and/or with start-ups or small businesses
- Experience of designing activities to stimulate enterprise, ideation and early-stage venture support for start-ups and/or local SMEs
- Experience of fostering relationship development for others and creating engaging connection points, activities and content
- Experience recording, tracking, analysing and reporting on data
- Sound knowledge of, and commitment to, social and environmental innovation, ventures and entrepreneurship
Previous involvement in supporting the long-term unemployed to start businesses would be beneficial to your application, as would previous experience in a start-up or a small business environment. An understanding and experience of environmental issues in a business or campaigning context would also be advantageous, as would experience of delivering ERDF or other EU funded programmes.
The closing date for applications is the 11th March 2022.
Please note, early applications are strongly encouraged, as we will be interviewing candidates as they apply.
