What will you be doing?
We are looking for experienced project management professionals who would like to apply their skills to a community environment to help monitor and project manage innovative creative health, history arts, and culture project through project lifecycles.
Channel your strategic leadership skills into a deeply rewarding community setting! As a Project Management Volunteer, you will steer innovative projects blending creative health, history, arts, and culture from inception to successful completion. You will apply professional methodologies to monitor timelines, manage resources, mitigate risks, and ensure our community milestones are achieved flawlessly. This is an exceptional opportunity to utilize your high-level coordination expertise to create a structured, supportive environment where diverse, life-changing creative initiatives can truly thrive.
What are we looking for?
Requirements (short-list criteria):
- Experience in the role of Project Manager for at least 3 other projects, ideally in a professional capacity, and/or in a community setting, with responsibility for the entire project start to finish.
- Knowledge of supervisory best practices and the ability to manage others in an environment of respect and transparency.
- Able to commit to the role for as long as needed, estimated to require on average between 5-10 hours per week to meet the needs of the project.
- The ability to treat others with respect at all times, and contribute toward a positive experience for all.
- Enthusiasm for WIILMA’s mission.
- Based in London or with own accommodations nearby
Preferred:
- Experience as a volunteer and/or working alongside volunteers
- Formal training in Project Management
