What will you be doing?
Become an integral part of a dedicated and passionate Board of Trustees, helping to lead and shape the future of our long-standing community organisation based in Brixton.
As a Trustee, you’ll play a key role in guiding the strategic direction, governance, and sustainability of our work. We are a values-led organisation, grounded in Listening, Collaboration, and the Creation of vital, community-driven activities that respond to local needs and inspire lasting impact.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, young people, and families. As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction and sustainability of our organisation.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Legal experience is strongly preferred, experience in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage: finance, fundraising, HR, marketing, education, youth work, community development, or governance.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to long-term planning.
- Understanding of the role and responsibilities of a charity trustee (training provided if needed).
- Lived experience or strong knowledge of the communities we serve is highly valued.

- A collaborative mindset and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to challenge and support constructively.
- Integrity, good judgement, and a willingness to learn.
No previous board experience is necessary — we welcome fresh perspectives and are committed to supporting new trustees in their development.
