Your place at the Lily’s Kitchen Table: -
As our Junior Digital Designer, you will be part of our talented eCommerce team, reporting to the Mid Weight Digital Designer yet also collaborating closely with our Brand and Studio team for brand concepts, tone and continuity across channels. You will have a passion for design and be excited about developing ideas which speak to our audience of pet parents.
You will be involved in creating engaging customer designs which translate across paid digital channels, CRM and our website and your contribution will be critical to our growth plans.
How will I make a difference?
You will: -
- Design for multiple digital channels and website platform
- Confident approach to tackling creative briefs and presenting ideas back that are on point and on brand
- Create standout, engaging visual assets working to design best practice, and within brand guidelines for consistency of brand visual identity
- Use your design skills to experiment with imagery, gifs, video and animation across multiple platforms
- Understand social design trends and interpret them for our audience and customers
- Work closely with the eCommerce team and evolve campaigns and digital design assets by actioning feedback to increase customer conversion rate, and brand equity
- Support our sustainability and B Corp values by producing digital content which is conscious, informative and aligns with our Ethical Marketing policy and wider industry standards
How will I be successful?
- At least 2 years’ experience in a relevant role, including the design for digital channels
- Proficient in Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator skills
- Ideally, HTML, CSS coding and animation skills
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking, visual design, layout, colour and type skills and experience working across a variety of digital projects
- Solid knowledge of digital formats across various screen sizes and devices, as well as a working knowledge of setting up files for print and web use
- You are comfortable working autonomously and in collaboration with others to discover the right solutions
- Able to work reactively and at speed in a quick turnaround, fast paced environment, adapting to changing priorities, maintaining a great eye for detail
- A true passion for digital design, illustration, communications design, and bold visual identity
- You’ll have a curious mind, eager to find out more about the customer and the business that will help to unlock improved performance
