Job summary  

We are seeking a personable, organised and resourceful individual with an interest in sales and a passion for helping people, who can work well both independently and within a large team, in a fast paced and community lead environment.  

  

You will be the point of contact for all potential new members and existing members regarding their contracts and renewals. Confidence with meeting people and public speaking ideal, as you will be touring individuals and groups around the building.  

  

Key aspects of the role are managing the sales pipeline, following up on leads, tours and sales negotiating, invoicing and developing a clear understanding of current members and their memberships. 

Location: Brighton  

Hours: Monday – Friday 9 - 5.30pm (Standard office hours with occasional but expected event  

attendance, with the option to be flexible as appropriate) 

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Maintaining all the sales pipeline for the building and keeping the leads up to date – following up on appropriate sales opportunities  
  • Delivering consistent and engaging location tours to visitors and new potential members 
  • Invoicing, billing, dealing with late payments and all queries for all current members ensuring this is done in a timely manner 
  • Leading on negotiating membership deals with new members and renewing members 
  • Managing new members and companies moving into the space, member onboarding, and inventories of studios  
  • Generating monthly sales reports on online system and Excel to be presented to team and management to track sales.  
  • Setting up members on Office RND (internal room booking system) and answering queries to ensure excellent experience for all and to increase profits for the building 
  • Audit Office RND – our online management system 
  • Organise VIP tours – for potential clients/future business 
  • Introducing new members and helping community integration – having a thorough understanding of our members and their offerings to support networking and further sales opportunities. 
  • Key stakeholders – members- new and current, visitors, members of public, VIPs 
  • Line manager report to Location Manager 

Qualifications and Skills 

  • Our ideal candidate will be personable and enthusiastic, with attention to detail and ability to retain vital information from sales tours 
  • Strong organisational skills in order to maintain sales pipelines, to support with high % conversion rate 
  • Confident and good understanding of Excel 
  • Exceptional customer service skills and some level of understanding of sales negotiation  
  • Confident with correspondence - You will be required to respond to emails and sales enquiries as well as helping deliver exceptional member experience.   
  • Adaptive and self-motivated – Quick to learn, with an attention to detail, ability to multi-task and able to keep task orientated.  
  • Passionate about sustainability, curious about innovation and Plus X.  
  • Preferable but not required – experience with Kisi, Office RND, hospitality/events
