Elsevier technology apprenticeship opportunities

We are offering 2 tech apprenticeship opportunities:

  • L4 Software Engineering
  • L4 DevOps Engineering

Both routes offer the opportunity to develop your career through exposure to our advanced technology, wider business communities and tailor made training programmes.

We are offering placements in Oxford to start in June 2022

Fast track training with Makers Academy

You don’t need any technical experience to apply. Your apprenticeship will start with Makers highly respected 12 week software training bootcamp. The program will teach you how to code, unlock your true potential, and support you in building the skills needed to future-proof your new career through a holistic curriculum. All training is free.

Application process 

Step 1: Online application

Complete a short online application to provide some basic information about yourself. Deadline for applications 14th March 2022

Step 2: Coding resources

Complete some short coding resources. 

Step 3: Coding challenge

Put your skills to the test with our coding challenge.

Step 4: Makers interview 

We like to meet all candidates. Close date for interviews: 28th March

Step 5: Elsevier interview 

Final stage is an interview with Elsevier.

Interviews will be held between 4th- 11th April

Step 6: Enrolment 

Congratulations! We will let you know if you have been offered an apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship start date: 6th June 2022
