Senior software developer for educational VR

What will you be doing?

Working closely with our Lead Developer, you’ll be a second senior voice on the team alongside the lead developer. You will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and improve features across our Unity/C# VR experience
• Help shape how we build: code reviews, development practices, and technical decisions
• Document how the system works (architecture, setup, build and deploy) so knowledge is shared and new volunteers can get started quickly

Note: As we're a small team, you will be able to negotiate which parts of the software experience you want to work with.

• Someone to join our group of friendly volunteers, all passionate about creating a more equitable and diverse future for Science
• Strong C# and Unity skills
• Someone who enjoys writing things down and sees documentation as part of the job
• Ideally someone who can offer 2-4 hours of their time each week though give this is a voluntary position,  we are flexible with commitment times
