What will you be doing?

Equality in Tourism is a very small charity focused on gender, tourism and development.  We are looking for someone with experience, particularly with institutional and/or trust funding, or with corporate, individual or event fundraising experience, and who is able to give us a few hours a week. We would like you to take a lead on researching possible opportunities and writing one or more funding applications for us, both for our innovative projects and our core work.

Key priorities for us are to find core funding that supports our ongoing work and enables us to reach our potential as an organisation.  Thus we would love to work with someome who would like to be part of a team and who has the creativity and experience to help develop a meaningful fundraising strategy and see it through.

What are we looking for?

We would very much like to work with someone who has had sufficient experience in the fundraising field to be able to develop a meaningful fundraising plan and support us with applications.

And obviously, if you also have experience of actually raising money for a charity, then that would be a real advantage.

What difference will you make?

The impact on our work could be  fundamental and thus transformative.  Not only would we as an organisation, be able to achieve our potential, but so too will those women we focus on and work to support.
