Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is looking for a Process Analyst to help us understand, map and improve how data moves between our systems, including Salesforce, Snowflake and Marketing Cloud. This is a hands-on, data-focused role where you'll take a detailed look at our systems, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and help establish clearer, more reliable data processes. You'll work closely with Data Management, Data Engineering and Technology teams, bringing together technical knowledge and business understanding to create lasting improvements. We're looking for someone who can see the bigger picture, challenge existing approaches and get into the detail of complex data flows—not just document processes, but help us understand how and why they work. Salary The salary for this role is £48,192 per annum and this is a 12 month fixed term contract. We operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate. Key Responsibilities Map and document end-to-end data flows across multiple systems, including our CRM system Salesforce,  our Data Warehouse Snowflake, Marketing Cloud and other connected platforms. Analyse how data is captured, transferred, transformed and used, identifying gaps, duplication, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement. Work with Data Engineering and technical teams to understand integrations, data structures and system dependencies. Investigate the root causes of data quality and process issues, recommending practical, sustainable solutions. Help establish clear data definitions, business rules and governance across areas such as data matching, deduplication, consent and ownership. Challenge existing processes and system configurations, ensuring improvements are driven by business and data needs rather than technology alone. Produce detailed data flow diagrams, process maps, technical requirements and documentation to support system improvements. Work collaboratively across teams to support the implementation and testing of improved data processes and integrations. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong experience in process analysis, particularly mapping complex data flows, system interactions and data-related business processes. Experience working across multiple integrated data systems, with an understanding of how data moves and is transformed between platforms. Experience working with data warehouses and mapping data flows between multiple systems would be particularly valuable. Good understanding of data management, data quality, governance, data lineage and business rules. Experience identifying root causes of data issues and developing sustainable process improvements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical information and identify opportunities for improvement. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with Data Engineering, Technology and business teams. Strong documentation and process-mapping skills, with the ability to translate complex data flows into clear, practical requirements. A proactive and curious approach, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and drive improvements. Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake or Marketing Cloud would be advantageous, although experience working with similar integrated data platforms is equally relevant.
