Meet co-founders and build an impact-driven venture in the home of climate tech.
Sustainable Ventures has launched the second year of the Ebico Affordable Warmth Incubator in partnership with The Ebico Trust.
The challenge? How can we use innovation to ensure a future of affordable, low carbon home heating for all?
The incubator will build ventures from scratch, taking ideas all the way through to high-potential, investable businesses.
We’re looking for ambitious, driven individuals to take part in Discover, our entrepreneurs bootcamp, during July 2022.
During the bootcamp, the cohort gets the chance to work on rapid ideation sprints and meet potential co-founders, before pitching to progress through two funded incubation phases with the opportunity for investment from The Ebico Trust.
Ready to create solutions? We’re with you all the way.

What do I need to know?
Day-to-day, the programme is run virtually, but there are some important dates when the cohort will come together in person*:
Discover Kick-off weekend (8th & 9th July 2022)
Team formation (29th July 2022)
*Locations to be confirmed. All Discover participants will receive a £400 stipend to cover travel costs and expenses.
Participants are also encouraged to meet in person independently as much as possible. There will be additional opportunities for UK-wide site visits during the Discover bootcamp.
During the 4-week Discover bootcamp, the daily workshop schedule will vary and will include half-day workshops and lunchtime sessions alongside the kick-off weekend (dates above). We will share the bootcamp schedule with you if we make you an offer to join the cohort. Discover will involve week-long sprints in teams, and you will also need to be available to work with your team offline and prepare for the weekly sprint reviews.
Discover will culminate in a team pitch day and successful teams will then join the first venture build stage, Create, receiving £7,500 to support the development of your idea, alongside tailored 1-1 support, a workshop programme and access to workspace. The programme will be full-time from this point onwards (starting in August). We will accommodate a transition into the full-time programme from existing employment or commitments where possible.
Teams will finally pitch once more for a place on the second venture build stage, Validate, with successful teams receiving a £15,000 investment from The Ebico Trust for a small stake in the venture.

You must have the right to work and reside in the UK to join the programme.
Applications are open now and will close on Sunday 12th June at midnight.
