Unifrog’s mission We’re on a mission to level the playing field when it comes to young people finding and applying for their next step after school. We're achieving this by bringing all the available information into one single, impartial, user-friendly platform that helps students to make the best choices, and submit the strongest applications. We also empower teachers and counsellors to manage the progression process effectively. Our outlook is global - we work with schools and universities all over the world, from the US to New Zealand, and from Italy to Hong Kong. We want to make it so that young people can compare every opportunity taught in English, wherever it is in the world, and have all the support they need to make successful applications. We have a clear social purpose, and we’re hugely ambitious. We already work with over half of UK secondary schools, and more than a thousand international schools. We are growing rapidly in terms of the number of our customers, in terms of how much they use our platform, and in terms of the breadth of products we offer (check out this video to hear more about the Unifrog platform). Our team is at the heart of our business and it is integral to our success. We work hard to foster a culture of openness, happiness and innovation, and we commit to helping every individual learn and grow so that they can reach their full potential. We want to hire talented people, whatever their background. If you are excited by our mission and are ready to work hard, please don’t hesitate to apply. We look forward to hearing from you! We believe in the power of diversity. If you are from an ethnic minority background, we would like to strongly encourage you to apply. In advance of applying if you have any questions about working at Unifrog, please contact [email removed - click apply for more details]. Events at Unifrog Whether we’re hosting our annual conference for 300 teachers and advisors in the UK, delivering networking events for international school counselors across the world, or bringing together professionals from across the university and employer sectors to provide them with networking opportunities and unique insights into our student audience, we strive to make our events as engaging and useful as possible. All events at Unifrog are created to best support students, teachers, and careers advisors in key stages throughout the academic year: Our virtual student fairs give students the opportunity to hear from and interact with some of the top universities and employers around the world. Unifrog networking events include opportunities for teachers and international school counselors to have one-to-one conversations with university representatives. They also give teachers the chance to ask specific questions that are relevant to their students. In addition to our virtual events, we run in-person events across the UK to give teachers and our university and employer partners the chance to have direct interaction through exhibitor stands and live sessions. In addition, Unifrog’s partner-facing teams attend external conferences and events across the globe to network with partners and prospective partners. The Events team makes sure they have all the conference kit and marketing materials they need to be successful. What you’ll do As Events Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the team to make sure all our events are delivered to the highest standard. You’ll be working closely alongside our Events Manager (Virtual events) as part of our growing Marketing team to make sure all our events help students to make informed decisions about their next steps. This six-month paid internship is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in events. You'll get hands-on experience supporting a busy events programme, learn how we plan and deliver virtual and in-person events, and take on real responsibility from the start. We'll support you to develop your skills throughout the internship. External conferences Manage and support the logistics of our conference equipment and make sure equipment and materials are delivered to external conferences and returned to the office in time.
