The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is dedicated to preventing violence affecting children and young people. We research violence to understand it, fund and test effective prevention methods, and aim to build a movement to end it. Our mission is crucial as violence impacts many, especially children, by robbing them of safety, potential, and hope.

As the Head of Digital Communications, you will play a pivotal role in our organization. You will be joining us at a critical time as we aim to increase our policy influence and mobilize a movement to ensure safety for children and young people. Your main task will be to enhance our digital presence to ensure that the right audiences engage with our content and trust our message. This includes managing our website, social media, newsletters, and video content, and ensuring these channels effectively communicate our research and solutions.

You will lead the Communications team and work closely with the Director of External Affairs and Youth Understanding to develop and execute digital campaigns that effectively communicate our findings and influence. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the team towards enhancing our digital strategy and ensuring that our message reaches educators, youth workers, police officers, policymakers, and the general public.

Key responsibilities include developing a segmented communication strategy, commissioning compelling video content, and leveraging data analytics to optimize our digital engagement. You should have a proven track record in digital communications, experience in leadership, and a passion for social change.

Benefits of working with us include a £1,000 professional development budget, 28 days of holiday plus bank holidays, flexible working hours, and more. We are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and encourage applications from all backgrounds.

To apply, please submit a CV and cover letter by the specified closing date. We are located in Central London, but offer hybrid working options. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
