Role Summary

  • Coordinate and deliver marketing and communication activities
  • Provide budgetary and administrative support
  • Act as an adviser to internal stakeholders on communication strategies
  • Monitor, evaluate, and recommend improvements in communication and marketing processes
  • The role is part-time (18.75 hrs/week), a mix of working from home, at the Grantham office, and occasional domestic travel.

Role Requirements

  • Experience in marketing and communications strategies and execution
  • Experience in writing briefs that meet objectives
  • Detailed-oriented and have experience in delivering communications and writing copy for various audiences
  • Experience in finance processes such as raising requisitions and managing purchase orders
  • A valid UK driving licence or ability to travel across the UK

Our mission involves engaging and inspiring individuals to contribute toward tackling the nature and climate crisis through the protection, restoration, and creation of essential woodland habitats.

The role: You will coordinate and deliver marketing and communication activity across a range of channels. You'll write clear briefs and progress communications from briefing to sign off. You'll provide budgetary and administration support including raising requisitions, managing purchase orders, setting up and supporting meeting delivery. You'll act as an adviser to internal stakeholders on how to best communicate and engage with new and existing audiences. You'll monitor and evaluate the results of communications and marketing activity and recommend and implement improvements to systems, processes, and sourcing. This role is 18.75 hours part time - Fixed Term Contract until the end of September 2027. It includes a mix of working from home, at our main office in Grantham, and occasional travel to remote locations around the UK.

Job requirements: We are looking for candidates who have experience in marketing and communications planning and delivery, knowledge of how to use data and insight to contribute to the evaluation of marketing activities, and experience writing briefs that meet objectives and progress them through the process. Candidates should be detail orientated with the ability to ensure systems are up to date and compliant, have experience delivering communications and writing copy for a variety of different audiences and channels, and possess strong communications skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and build strong relationships. Experience within finance processes including raising requisitions and managing purchase orders is also required. A full UK driving licence or the ability to travel to remote locations across the UK is necessary.
