Role Summary

Role Requirements

This project aims to develop a new website that will enhance communication, visibility, and knowledge-sharing with local and regional governments, partners, and stakeholders worldwide.
The organisation: ICLEI is a global network of over 2,500 local and regional governments committed to sustainable urban development. Active in more than 125 countries, ICLEI's initiatives support low emission, nature-based, equitable, resilient, and circular development.
The role: The selected agency will develop a WordPress website that aligns with the project's branding and ICLEI's existing digital presence. The website will be largely static with a clear, professional online presence, multilingual support in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and easy backend access for non-technical staff. The project will be structured into three phases: setup and structure, testing and launch, and maintenance and support.
Job requirements: The agency should have experience in developing WordPress websites, particularly for NGOs or public institutions. Familiarity with the Polylang.pro plugin for multilingual sites is required. The project demands a clean, stable, well-supported WordPress theme with minimal custom coding.
