What will you be doing?

As one of the most successful and influential colleges in the region, Salford City College supports around 11,000 students across six campuses. We offer a wide range of provision, including A-levels, vocational courses, Apprenticeships, Higher Education, community outreach programmes, and employer training.

While all applications are welcome, we are especially interested in hearing from individuals from a finance, accounting or similar background, particularly from those with public or third sector experience.

This is a voluntary role, with a typical commitment of around 90 hours per academic year. In addition to attending Corporation and committee meetings, Corporation members are encouraged to engage in College life, including graduations, award ceremonies, and performances by our celebrated Pendleton School of Theatre.

As a Corporation member, you will help set the strategic direction of the College, ensuring that we continue to meet the needs of all our learners. Working collaboratively with fellow Board members, you will contribute to key decision-making, monitor executive performance, and help us deliver the highest quality education.
