Overview:

Karma Cans is a lunch delivery company, based just off Broadway Market in Hackney, that makes and delivers up to 1000 meals a day. We're a relaxed, happy team of 12 people and we're looking for a dynamic, multi-tasker to join us for the long term and help us grow and iterate our business.

The ideal person has to be organised, focused and upbeat, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to keep calm under pressure. We want someone who is an all rounder, who can bring fun and positivity to our team and who enjoys working alone as well as in a team.

Key Roles:

General Operational Support
Daily Lunch Orders Preparation
Packing & Labelling
Event Organisation
Lunch Order Plating (Occasionally)
Stock Check

Main Duties Include:

Daily Operations

Assisting (when busy) the kitchen with the preparation and packing of breakfast orders
Assisting the Head of Operations with the preparation, packing and delivery of all lunch orders
Plating salads / wrapping sandwiches
(This will often only be the case if we are really busy or understaffed in the kitchen)
Preparation & Stock Check
Labelling lids with allergen and dietary stickers
Checking and updating stock (inc. drinks)

Events

Assisting the Sales team with the organisation of events
Attending site visits and reporting back
Setting up and breaking down events
Working at the event itself (events outside of normal working hours are non-compulsory)

Miscellaneous

As a growing scale-up there may be a number of odd jobs that you are required to help out with. These could include a last-minute run to the shop to grab some supplies, wrapping sandwiches for a couple of hours or re-organising a storage container.
