UK Brand Ambassador - African Originals

WHO WE ARE

At African Originals we want to use the awesome produce in Africa to create authentic beverage products that embody Africa's restlessly independent spirit.

Originally born in Kenya with Kenyan Originals, African Originals is now expanding into the UK, to spread the delicious flavours of African craft beverages.

We are looking for a part-time brand ambassador help spread our brand across the UK.

THE ROLE

The Role will revolve around three main components.

1. Business Development

• The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for growing sales revenue and generating business within a territory
• You will be responsible for listing in 10 boutique outlets through a multitude of outreach techniques
• You will be responsible for consistently following up to ensure satisfaction with the product

1. Brand Development/Social Media

• The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for management of the African Originals social media accounts
• You will work in tandem with a creative agency to ensure high quality social media posts and boosting
• You will be responsible for the steady growth of social media followership
• You will be the 'face of the brand'

1. Partnership opportunities

• The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for the development of any partnership opportunities in regards to private events/parties for which African Originals could provide beverages

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Sales and marketing experience is preferable but not essential
• Key personality traits include:
• Independent thinker, creative and extroverted
• Project management skills, with an eye for brand building and social media marketing
• Hard working and motivated

DETAILS

• You will report to the Brand Manager and Special Project Lead
• Requirement of a minimum of 25 hours per week, with flexible working hours
• Competitive salary
