We are creating a new position for an HR/Office manager. The role would be a senior position within the company and is designed as a 3 day a week flexible position which can also be spread over 5 days if preferable. We are an inclusive employer and open to adapting this role to the right candidate. 

Human Resources responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for all HR services to the 22 person team.
  • Support the development of HR programs, procedures and policies.
  • Responsible for the entire gamut of workforce management from hiring to separation.
  • Assistance and counselling to employees and serve as mediator between employees and supervisors.
  • Maintain all personnel files, preparing and updating HR documentation and systems incl compliance with GDPR requirements.
  • Managing HR systems for input of starters, leavers, and staff changes, employee benefits..
  • Advising and assisting with appraisals, disciplinary and employee relations meetings.

Office and General Manager responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth running of the offices
  • Organising and liaising with all facilities eg cleaning
  • Managing all insurances incl Professional Indemnity, office contents, keyman insurances, office travel insurance, death in service insurance. 
  • Supplier management and contracts negotiation incl all office equipment
  • Looking after office lease, solicitors, managing agents etc. 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Ability to work on own initiative is essential
  • Previous experience in a HR role.
  • Strong interest in pursuing HR as a career.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan, organise and manage priorities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office applications.

Experience in HR is essential for this position. Experience in office management, negotiating leases and insurance is desirable but not essential. 

The position would be ideally suited to someone working in this field who has a passion and interest in the arts.
