Role Summary
- Involvement in Project Coordination, Reporting, and Delivery support for the UIIF phase II project across Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with consultants and stakeholders.
- Contributing to the planning and organization of project-related events.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and technical documents.
Role Requirements
- A Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Political Science, Urban Studies, or Environmental Science.
- 1-2 years of work experience in a related field.
- Experience in data analysis using tools like Python and GIS.
- Proficiency in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.
- Experience with digital collaboration tools and basic proficiency in design platforms are required.

The role: As a Junior Officer in the Resilient Development Team at the ICLEI World Secretariat based in Bonn, Germany, you will be involved in Project Coordination, Reporting, and Delivery support for the 'Urban Infrastructure Insurance Facility (UIIF) phase II' project across Latin America and the Caribbean. Your tasks will include supporting effective communication and coordination with consultants and stakeholders, contributing to the planning and organization of project-related events, and assisting in the preparation of reports and technical documents.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Political Science, Urban Studies, or Environmental Science, and 1-2 years of work experience in a related field. Experience in data analysis, using tools like Python and GIS, and proficiency in English, with Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred. You should also have experience with digital collaboration tools and basic proficiency in design platforms.
Benefits: The position offers a starting annual salary of 34,306.92 EUR, work-from-home flexibility within Germany, 40 working hours per week, and 30 days of paid leave per year. The contract is for a limited duration of 1 year with the possibility of extension, subject to a three-month probation period.
