Role Summary
- As a Senior Modelling Engineer, you'll play a critical role in our technology engineering department.
- You'll focus on developing, testing, and implementing new and improved training features that are tailored to individual users.
- You'll work with our coaches to help deliver their expertise to our users and experiment with new algorithms to create a more effective training system.
Role Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience, particularly in modelling.
- Proficiency in Python and experience in algorithm design.
- Background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering. Comfortable with quantitative methods.
- Experience with CI/CD, delivering features end-to-end, and working in a product-centric organization are bonuses.

The Role: As a Senior Modelling Engineer at Runna, you will be integral to our technology engineering department. You will focus on building, testing, and delivering new and improved training features. This includes creating personalized training plans and adjusting them based on performance data and environmental factors. You will work closely with our coaches to ensure the delivery of their expertise to our users and experiment with new algorithms to enhance our training system.
Job Requirements: We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in software engineering, specifically with a focus on modelling. Proficiency in Python and experience in designing complex algorithms are essential. You should be comfortable with quantitative methods and have a background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering. Experience with CI/CD, delivering features end-to-end, and working in a product-focused organization are considered bonuses.
Benefits: Runna offers a competitive salary range of £70,125 to £78,375 per year, along with participation in Strava's stock programs.
