Electrical Engineer

Rivan Industries is a pioneering synthetic fuel company focused on decarbonizing heavy industry through innovative technology. Our unique power-to-fuel machine, powered entirely by utility-scale solar, is designed for low-capex deployment. We have already developed operating modules of our machine, secured funding, and are now expanding our team to scale our vision. Our goal is to make synthetic fuel more affordable than fossil fuels and contribute to sustaining life on earth by keeping CO2 locked underground.

The role: As an Electrical Engineer at Rivan Industries, you will play a crucial role in accelerating our cabinet builds, supporting our power system design, and leading the deployment of our systems in various locations. Your responsibilities will include designing controls and safety panels, optimizing the cost of all electrical systems, and testing equipment both at our factory in London and at various site locations.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience and hold a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. Experience in panel design from conception to deployment in a large industrial setting is essential.

Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 to £60,000, depending on experience, along with significant share options as part of our early team. Additional benefits include extensive relocation support with an extra £6000 per year for living close to our HQ in Bermondsey, South-East London, and flexible time-off policies.
