Job Brief

We are looking for someone who is excited by how investing systems and platforms work, and wants an opportunity to join an evolving FinTech and play a key role in the development of our investing proposition. As part of the Business Architecture Team, you will be aligned to our Investing Mission and would analyse, design, and deliver joined up business architecture which supports our customer experience and scalable operational processes.

This role will be great for someone with experience in business analysis and project delivery in an investing environment. You will be someone who enjoys engaging with complex concepts and processes to create innovative solutions through collaboration with stakeholders across the business. You will be able to assimilate information quickly, communicate empathetically, work autonomously, and have an analytical approach to problems. You will work closely with the wider Business Architecture team, Product, Insight, Finance, Investment Operations, all technology teams, and the Customer Operations team.

What you'll do

Gather and distil detailed requirements for new investing functionality, including creating process flows and operating models Collaborate with product, technology, and operations colleagues to establish solutions to key customer and business challenges Support the Investing Mission with the planning, delivery, and reporting of change Support the wider Business Architecture team with business analysis and project activities, including developing shared methodologies and approaches

Who you are

You are a driven individual who’s looking to build their career at an exciting very-fast-growing company. You like to understand how complex things work and to help others understand them. You are excited by delivering processes and functionality that improve investing systems, and have a proven record of this You are highly detail-oriented with a methodical approach to articulating things in verbal and written form You are a naturally personable, great communicator who has a passion for their work and the people they work with You are excited about FinTech and being part of a company that is trying to make a positive mark on the world You have knowledge and experience of investment assets such as funds, ETFs or equities; and the administration practices associated with them. You know how to have fun whilst maintaining a professional outlook

Experience and skills

University educated with at least one degree Ideally you have around 3+ years of relevant BA experience in financial services, particularly pertaining to investments Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Understanding of business analysis and project management methodologies Great communication, listening and stakeholder management skills
