We are on a mission to make travel work better for pets, their people, and the global community of animal lovers who look after them. With big plans to become the world's most-loved travel solution for pet people, we've built a trusted platform where pet owners and sitters connect. We have grown into a global community with members in over 140 countries, a product people genuinely love, and a team of more than 100 brilliant humans powering it all. Our goal is to grow to 1 million members and make TrustedHousesitters the world's most-loved travel solution for pet people.
The role: We are looking for a Data Analyst who thrives on turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. You will work hands-on with data to understand our members' behaviour, identify opportunities for improvement, and help teams across the business make informed, data-driven decisions. You will partner closely with key stakeholders from across the business, helping them translate data into meaningful insights and actions. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills in SQL, curiosity about user behaviour, and a passion for turning data into insight. You will take ownership of your own projects, working with guidance to deliver clear, accurate, and impactful analysis.
Job requirements: Proficiency in SQL with experience querying large datasets; Experience with visualization and BI tools (Looker, Mode, Tableau, or similar). Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to explain analysis clearly and adapt messages for different audiences. You should be proactive and curious, able to challenge assumptions, ask the right questions, and identify opportunities. Understanding of core statistics and experimentation principles (A/B testing, significance testing, confidence intervals) is required.
Benefits: In addition to a competitive salary and bonus, we offer fully remote work, generous equity options, a discretionary 10% annual bonus scheme, 25 days holiday annually plus bank holidays, and Christmas to New Year closure. Other benefits include a pension scheme, premium TrustedHousesitters pet owner and sitter membership, £500 per year towards travel costs, £200 annually towards home office equipment, access to co-working spaces globally, a MacBook, health insurance, and more. We also support personal development and host regular team events.
